MEETING WITH LOCAL ARTISTS ON DEVELOPING THE INFORMATION, EDUCATION AND COMMUNICATION (IEC) MATERIALS BOTH FOR YOUTUBE AND PRINTED MATERIALS LIKE COMICS

This activity is a follow through workshop from the initial meeting with the graphic artist. For the preliminaries, the workshop started with prayers. Ms. Noemi Bonaobra, the EDS Officer, discussed the objectives of the workshop as follows:

• Presented initial characters for the IEC
• Critiqued initial presentation
• Discussed key points of the Financial Literacy and the take away messages
• Produced a dashboard for the story line
• Agreed on next steps

Mr. Terence Joshua Pintor, the Graphic Artist presented the tone of the material that the readers can relate with particularly the anxiety created by the pandemic. He proposed a lighter tone that is both humorous and relatable.

Brainstorming and discussion of each characters' features, including the age, hair, cloth style and more followed. The dashboard of the comic storyline with gender-responsive integration including the event or the setting, the plot, the problem and the solution has been the challenge, but with the assistance of Fr. Kevin Fonacier, the creation of storyline went well.
